Provo Canyon School is Hiring a Math Tutor Near Provo, UT
Job Status: PRN (as needed) Non-Exempt Hourly
Your Goals & Objectives:
- Maintain an appropriate level of order in the classroom, and a pleasing appearance.
- Monitor maintenance of classroom furniture and equipment.
- Maintain positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement
- Foster student cooperation.
- Exhibits warmth, patience, and is nurturing to students. Use school discipline structure.
- Experience working as a Math Tutor or Math Teacher.
- Strong understanding of high school math topics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2, or equivalent math core curriculum.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to explain concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Patience and creativity in helping students grasp math concepts.
- Availability to work part-time hours (One day per week)
- MUST be at least 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check and drug screen
