Job Description
- Design electrical systems (power distribution, stand-by power generation, lighting, communication, fire alarms, and security systems)
- Supervise junior staff in project design and development tasks
- Review electrical department design documents for completion
- Ensure team adhere to industry and company standards
- Assist with development of company quality standards/procedures
- Assist with business development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6 years of experience with a consulting engineering firm (designing building power, lighting, communication and security systems)
- Thorough understanding/knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry, including the Federal, State, and local laws and regulations that pertain to the industry
- PE License
- Experience using Outlook and Microsoft Office (or similar software)
- Ability to mentor junior level staff
- LEED Accreditation
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Easy Power preferred
- Experience with HVAC and plumbing systems preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
