Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team at a vibrant and dynamic educational community located in Deer Valley AZ. Our ideal candidate is someone who is not only skilled in ensuring the safety and security of our students and staff but also excels in interacting positively with teenagers. This role demands a balance of vigilance and approachability, as the well-being of our students is our utmost priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor school premises to prevent trespassing, vandalism, and other incidents.
• Interact with students in a positive, supportive manner, contributing to a safe and welcoming school environment.
• Respond to emergencies with calmness and efficiency.
• Enforce school policies and procedures with patience and understanding.
• Collaborate with school administration and local law enforcement when necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role; experience in an educational setting is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with teenagers.
• A mature and patient demeanor, capable of handling situations with diplomacy and tact.
• Must pass a background check and have relevant certifications/licenses for security work.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.
