JOB TITLE: Material Takeoff Coordinator  (Lighting Manufacturer/Distributor for New Construction)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Material Takeoff is responsible for evaluating all the plan sets, completing material takeoffs with the most accurate information, and ensuring that our customers are receiving the best proposal
  • Reviews proposal specifications, RFI updates and customer feedback
  • Gathers details and compiles data to ensure we are providing the most accurate data
  • Prepares takeoffs by working with our customers to ensure all questions have been answered
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Special Projects:
  • Support the Integris management team on special projects as required
  • Initiate projects to achieve improvements
  • Work on any assigned projects to produce timely and accurate results
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and specifications
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-year degree or higher
  • Minimum of 1 year Estimating or related experience a plus
  • Lighting and plumbing industry experience is a plus
  • Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office software, and On Screen Takeoff (OST) a plus
  • Possesses analytical and organizing skills
  • Familiar with standard symbols, concepts, practices, and procedures in plans
  • A self-motivator, eager to learn and grow a fast learner
  • A team player that must be able to work with people
  • Attention to details and goal of perfectionism
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent follow-ups skills
  • Excellent and professional verbal communication, written and presentation skills
  • Professional presentation - written and in person
  • Willing to work overtime when necessary
