The Universal Banker position is a "career level" position that performs both Teller and Platform duties. The responsibilities may vary day to day based on the work that needs to be done in the branch that day.
Responsibilities include responding to customers' needs by processing a variety of financial transactions including but not limited to opening accounts, cross selling, tele-consulting, developing relationships thru a book of business, and servicing accounts, check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments and / or greeting customers, and performing customer needs assessment (profiling).

Key Functions and Responsibilities :
Identifies the benefits of all products and services that will satisfy the needs of the customers.
Support, refer and / or resolve customer inquiries by processing transactions and other banking needs.
Exceed client expectations through active engagement, commitment and dedication to servicing and building customer relationships.
Helps maintain cost efficiency to achieve the goals of the branch & assuring the quality of customer service in accordance to our Guiding Principles.
Ensures operational and financial safety requirements are followed, such as : Establishing customer identity, preparing and / or completing CTR / SAR procedures on appropriate transactions and following all other compliance procedures.
PERSONAL SKILLS
Good customer service skills, including listening, written and verbal communication
Cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment required
Ability to problem-solve and provide solutions to customer issues
Good organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively
Good PC skills; and the ability to quickly learn other computer programs, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED
0 - 2 years in a retail sales / service environment
Banking experience a plus
