Description

Working under the direction of the manager or director of practice ops, this position has direct responsibility for the supervision of staff in the clinical department. Ensures staff is providing patient care within the scope of practice and rules and regulations. Exercises independent judgment, discretion and, within agreed upon limitations and takes action based on knowledge of the organization, its policies and procedures and personnel. Works with minimal supervision.

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program at a vocational school or college.
• Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years Recent experience in an acute care facility or medical group practice with 1 year in a medical practice.
• Employee supervision/management experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• EMR and/or IDX experience.
