Providence is Hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist I Near Burbank, CA

Description

Reporting to the General Laboratory Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing superior customer satisfaction and ensuring the highest quality care and service. Performs a wide range of procedures including procedures of high complexity in at least 3 laboratory sections where one of the sections is blood bank/transfusion services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science

  • California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California upon hire or

  • California Clinical Chemist Scientist License upon hire or

  • California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License upon hire or

  • California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License upon hire or

  • California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License upon hire or

  • California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License upon hire or

  • California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License upon hire or

  • California Clinical Hematology Scientist License upon hire or

  • California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License upon hire or

  • California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must meet CLIA requirements for testing personnel, moderate to high complexity tests

  • MT(ASCP) certification upon hire
