Manager Behavioral Health at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center full time (1 FTE) Day shift position

We are seeking a Clinical Operations Manager for our 20-bed inpatient acute psychiatric Child & Adolescent Unit located at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. Our population served is ages 5-17, experiencing various psychiatric conditions that require short term hospital level stabilization. Suicidality, behavioral dysregulation, PTSD and psychosis are common diagnoses. There are many approaches and interventions utilized including Collaborative Problem Solving. This position directly supervises family therapists, group therapists, associate level caregivers and discharge planning. There is a dyad relationship with the RN Manager who oversees nursing practice, care planning and treatment and share budgetary and financial performance accountability.

Responsible for program and financial operation interface for the child and adolescent psychiatric unit at PWFMC. Reports to Regional Behavioral Health leadership with a matrixed relationship to PWFMC administration. Work focuses on operational program development and implementation and the improvement of clinical and financial performance. Position is responsible to provide assistance in development of overall programming and provision of services so they are: evidence based, quality driven, responsive to the needs of patient/family/referral source satisfaction while adhering to budgetary performance expectations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree.

  • upon hire: Oregon Professional Counselor License. Or

  • upon hire: Oregon Registered Professional Counselor Intern. Or

  • upon hire: Oregon Clinical Social Worker License. Or

  • upon hire: Oregon Clinical Social Work Associate License. Or

  • upon hire: Oregon Marriage and Family Therapist License Or

  • upon hire: Oregon Marriage and Family Therapist Intern License. Or

  • upon hire: Oregon Psychologist License.

  • 5 years Progressively responsible leadership positions in a Behavioral health setting.

  • Skilled experience to include expertise in personnel and departmental budgeting practice as well as day-to-day facility operations, policy and procedure development and execution, utilization management compliance, labor relations, regulatory agency rules and survey preparation in an acute care setting and experience in physician relations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an acute psychiatric treatment setting serving patients under the age of 18.
