Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Infection Preventionist (Level 2 or Level 3) at Providence in Anchorage, AK. The Infection Preventionist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to infection control, microbiology, medicine, and prevention. The role will involve implementing and monitoring infection control practices, analyzing data and trends, educating staff on infection prevention protocols, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop strategies for preventing infections.
Required:
Certification Infection Control (CIC)
4 years of Healthcare Experience
2 years of Epidemiology/Infection Control
Qualifications
- Infection Control and Prevention skills
- Knowledge of Microbiology and Medicine
- Experience in analyzing data and trends
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Experience in healthcare settings
- Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in infection control or a related field
