Providence is Hiring a Histotechnologist Near Orange, CA

Description

Histotechnologist performs various technical, clerical, and quality assurance duties and tasks in the surgical pathology lab. These duties include specimen accessioning, tissue processing, embedding, cutting, and staining.

Required Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED.

  • National Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire.

  • 2 years Experience as a histotechnician / histotechnologist in a busy hospital or reference lab setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree Science related field.

  • Coursework/Training Completion of formal Histotechnology Training Program.

  • 3 years Experience as a histotechnician / histotechnologist.
