Providence is Hiring an Emergency Technician Near Mission Hills, CA

Description

The Emergency Service Technician performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care as directed under RN/MD supervision. The EST demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of EMT-1 Training program or Clinical experience

  • Coursework/Training: MOAB I / II within 30 to 150 days of hire

  • California Emergency Medical Technician License upon hire or

  • California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License upon hire or

  • California Paramedic License upon hire

  • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred qualifications:

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians upon hire

  • 1 year' Patient care or clinical experience

  • Experience in an emergency room setting
