This posting is for multiple openings of Dietary Technician at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA. We offer day shifts for on-call/supplemental or part-time opportunities.

Dietary Technician - Nutrition Services Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager the Clinical Dietetic Technician (DT) functions as a member of the RD-DT team to provide nutritional care to patients. The DT's role includes assigning nutrition risk levels for patients, nutritional interventions for patients at low nutrition risk, and monitoring patient menus for adherence to established standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Registered with American Dietetic Association as a dietetic technician or registration eligible

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Nutrition or health related coursework
  • Experience with population of ages to be served (infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age child, adolescent) as a clinical dietetic technician
  • Acute care setting experience
