Providence Health Plan is calling a bi-lingual Associate Customer Care Coordinator, Medicare Advantage, who will:

  • Serve as a member of a service team that supports multiple regions and whose primary purpose is to provide Health Plan customers with outstanding, seamless service in a call center-based team environment

  • Be Responsible for the first line of communication with a variety of customers, including existing and potential members, providers, internal departments and employers

  • Provide detailed benefit quotes, eligibility and premium information on a broad portfolio of products

  • Assist members in selecting medical homes and primary care physicians

  • Educate members and providers in the appropriate use of health plan and clinic services

  • Research and respond to claims and authorization inquiries

  • Utilize knowledge of complex custom networks and resolve customer issues and concerns

  • This position will take both Spanish and English calls on a daily basis and will require for you to be fluent in both languages

  • This position will require flexibility to work between the hours of 8am - 8pm daily as scheduled

  • During the months of October - March you will be required to have flexibility to work weekend days as a part of your work schedule

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following State: Oregon

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years' experience working in a high-pressure customer facing service environment with a proven track record of learning and applying complex concepts

Preferred qualification for this position includes:

  • Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English

  • Experience working with multi-line phone systems

  • Experience working in customer service within a high-volume call center environment

  • Experience working in customer service within a healthcare office environment (clinical, administration, back office, etc.)

  • Experience working in customer service with insurance
