Event Specialist PS&D Anchorage , Alaska Description :

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Event Specialist PS&D. This position can sit in any Providence approved state location in the US.

Our team is building a robust outreach strategy that supports the hiring of physicians and advanced practice clinicians across the country.

We have an exciting roadmap to the future, which includes aggressive growth plans and multiple initiatives to get us there.

Were searching for an experienced Events Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be able to develop robust event strategies with numerous live and virtual events, and then translate those strategies into flawless implementation.

The incumbent should work well independently with heavy emphasis on having measurable impact in alignment with organizational objectives, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure plans are developed and implemented.

In this role, the Events Specialist will work with our Recruitment, Sales, and Strategic Outreach teams who directly support our product offerings : provider jobs, recruitment services, and medical school / residency support.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities :

Facilitate and manage the development of an events strategy that will drive awareness of our jobs and services to targeted audiences across the country.

This will be inclusive of in-person and virtual events, working with associations and partners, as well as hosting our own events.

  • Develop and facilitate process to prioritize events in alignment with budget targets.
  • Serve as lead coordinator as we develop our brand presence at national events developing the assets that we use in events to present an engaging and compelling brand position.
  • Ensure flawless execution of delivery of all materials to on-site events.
  • Coordinate with marketing team to ensure pre- and post-event promotion and wrap up to solidify process to identify warm leads in B2B and B2C channels.
  • Coordinate across teams to identify who will represent PS&D at each event and ensure travel has been booked.
  • Identify opportunities for ancillary promotion and marketing in conjunction with events hosting breakfasts, presentations, and other activities in communities we visit.
  • Coordinate with teams to support PS&D hosting virtual events.
  • Update website and marketing content, as needed, to help with promotion of events.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to understand impact of events in meeting business objectives.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute monthly report showing achievement of success metrics.
  • Conduct research needed to refine strategy.

Qualifications :

Required qualifications for this position include :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, or equivalent education / experience.
  • 3 years combined experience in events, marketing, project management and / or recruitment.

Preferred qualifications for this position include :

Certification in event or meeting management a plus.
