We are looking for a Senior UI Engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about crafting responsive web applications that enhance user experience and scale efficiently. As a key team member, you will drive the technical vision for our Enterprise Item initiatives, leveraging your expertise in Merchandising business domains, front-end technologies, and cloud-enablement solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Guide application design, leveraging your deep understanding of relevant technologies and existing designs.
• Analyze complex business requirements and create technical specifications for applications and reusable components.
• Develop UI/Frontend features for assigned stories using technologies such as JavaScript, React.js, and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Technical Leads to analyze problems and define detailed technology requirements.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute high-quality, original code.
• Serve as a technical resource for modeling, prototyping, and analysis efforts.
• Ensure program logic is correct through rigorous testing, including automated unit and functional tests.
• Utilize Agile Scrum practices to deliver flexible solutions.
• Oversee system configuration, testing, and deployment to production.
• Develop documentation and technical procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of web programming experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, Web Services, Server frameworks, relational databases, REST APIs, and related technologies.
• 5 years of experience in building responsive applications using React.js, Tailwind CSS, and GraphQL.
• Experience with real-time streaming processing (e.g., Kafka/Storm) preferred.
• Recent experience with ReactJS or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in NodeJS & TypeScript preferred.
• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) and source code management systems (e.g., GitHub).
• Strong understanding of responsive web applications and best practices.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in web technologies.
• Experience with Agile Scrum and related methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand client expectations and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
• Self-starter with a strong aptitude for delivering quality products.
