Providence Health is Hiring a Respiratory Equipment Technician Near Walla Walla, WA

Description

The Respiratory Care Equipment Technician provides technical support to the department, cleaning and maintaining equipment, maintaining supplies, and stocking work areas. Also performs patient-care related duties, including performing oxygen rounds, taking basic vital signs (heart rate, respiratory rate, and pulse oximetry reading), EKG's, sleep oximetry and downloads, basic home CPAP checks and patient charges.

Required Qualifications:

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course or equivalent educ/experience
  • Previous patient care experience may be considered in lieu of course work/training/education.
  • Coursework/Training: Enrollment in a accredited Respiratory Therapy education program within one year or equivalent educ/experience
  • Hospital or other related experience.
