The Principal Product Manager role is both broad, across a business unit and deep, in terms of technical, process and continuous improvement required to run and maintain an enterprise wide service. This role is both enterprise in nature and startup in mindset. This role works in a fast paced, evolving environment, have with constant demands for better services. It requires strong problem resolution, decision making, communication and partnering skills. This role requires someone to be both a leader and teacher a coach as we continue to advance to cutting edge, innovative mindset, and skill-set to the organization. It requires a leader that thrives through creating a vision, building consensus, and driving teams towards results. You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus resource and technical constraints.
Principal Product Manager in Strategy Analytics is a big-picture thinker that combines knowledge of healthcare industry and strategy with exceptional analytical skills to guide teams of engineers in building products surfacing causality of trends, and works as a thought partner with business stakeholders to help them derive insights leading to strategic option discernment. This role acts as a partner to clients, executive directors of strategy and business planning and Chief Strategy Officers’ supporting teams, to crystalize the objectives of their analyses and determine options for appropriately supporting these objectives through data from both internal and external data sources. Leading in an environment of ambiguity of client needs and approaching large-scale problems in innovative ways is critical in this role. Principal PM serves as the main point of contact with data vendors and advocates for changes in support of our clients’ needs. Principal Product Manager also leads discernment efforts to select data source vendors and is experienced in negotiating data acquisition contracts.
