Description

Responsible for safe, effective, and timely medication use throughout the medical center. Ensures optimal medication use throughout the entire medical center across all ages of the patient population. Performs all of the functions of an Inpatient Pharmacist under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, when not appropriately licensed. All applicable state and federal regulations must be followed at all times. The Resident Pharmacist is responsible for learning and then performing all functions related to medication use over a one year period beginning July 1st to June 30th.

Required qualifications:

• PharmD From a school or college of pharmacy.
• Upon hire: California Pharmacist Intern License Or
• Upon hire: California Pharmacist Registered
• Completion of professional curriculum inclusive of significant clinical clerkship experience from an accredited school or college of pharmacy.
