Patient Services Specialist at Providence Hood River Hospital (On-Call, Variable Schedule).

The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration
• Upon hire: National Certification of CHAA
• 3 years Experience in Patient Access of Business office setting. Experience with insurance eligibility systems
• 3 years Utilization of medical terminology in job setting.Knowledge in medical billing codes
• 1 year Knowledge of Epic applications
