Providence Health is Hiring a Patient Care Technician Near Burbank, CA

Description

The Patient Services Technician performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). These duties may include, but are not limited to ECGs, vital signs, monitoring, basic patient care and transportation. Responds appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on the Intensive Care Unit scope of service.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of Medical Terminology HealthStream course within 90 days of hire.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year Recent experience as a Nurse Assistant in a comparable size facility, preferably within the same or similar specialty.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • Customer Service Training.
