Providence Health is Hiring a Nurse Educator Near Missoula, MT

Description

The Clinical Educator is responsible and accountable for assessing educational needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs, conferences, and in-services. He/She assists with quality improvement activities and assessing the implementation of age and culturally appropriate care programs. He/She assists in staff development and team building activities. He/She mentors by role modeling professional practice behavior and providing educational support to all staff. He/she will be responsible for collaborating with other hospital nurse educators to implement and sustain just-in-time training, continuing educational opportunities, skills labs, and nursing/CNA orientation.

Shift Details: 32 hours weekly, Day shift

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Nursing.
  • Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 3 years - Experience in health care education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree - Nursing or related field.
  • Certification in Nursing Staff Development upon hire.
