Electrophysiology Technician in Cardiac Cath Lab Unit at Providence St. Patrick Hospital, Missoula, MT

The Electrophysiology Technologist (EPT) is a cardiovascular or radiologic technologist who has completed competencies identified in the Cardiovascular Technologist orientation. The EPT will perform through the utilization of specialized equipment, under the direction of a qualified physician, procedures that include fluoroscopy and digital image capture resulting in the accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart arrhythmias while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort.

Shift details: This is a full-time, 1 FTE (40 working hours per week), day shift position.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular or Radiographic technology
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International or
• Upon hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist And Registered Technologist - Radiography (ARRT)
• 2 years experience in a cardiovascular laboratory

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Special procedures or Cath Lab experience
• Electrophysiology technologist experience
