Description

Providence is calling a Claims Specialist who will work remotely within our footprint states in, AK, CA, MT, OR, TX, or MT.

The Research Claims Specialist will support the Clinical Research billing and account review needs of the Providence Health System. This position reports to the Research Claims Manager and includes collaboration with several research entities within Providence. Main responsibilities include, but not limited to, the review of charges, processing and tracking of on-going research related clinical billing, and regular review of research related billing process for accuracy and compliance. Must uphold the standards of confidentiality, attendance and punctuality.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years Experience in research billing and coding, or closely related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field Or equivalent educ/experience
  • 2 additional years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field Or equivalent educ/experience
  • 4 additional years of experience.

Min: $24.26, Max: $37.84

Southern California, NorCal (Humboldt), Alaska (Kodiak, Seward, Valdez)

Min: $21.62, Max: $33.73

WA Puget Sound, Oregon (Portland), Alaska (Anchorage)

Min: $20.74, Max: $32.36

Oregon (Hood River, Medford, Seaside)

Min: $19.37, Max: $30.16

Eastern Washington (Richland, Spokane, Walla Walla)

Min: $18.46, Max: $28.79

Montana

Min: $16.70, Max: $26.05
