Providence Health Plan is Hiring an Associate Customer Care Coordinator, Medicare Near Beaverton, OR

Description

Providence Health Plan is calling an Associate Customer Care Coordinator, Medicare who will:

  • Serve as a member of a team that supports multiple regions with a primary purpose to provide Health Plan customers outstanding, seamless service in a call center-based team environment
  • Be Responsible for the first line of communication with a variety of customers, including existing and potential members, providers, internal departments and employers
  • Provide detailed benefit quotes
  • Review eligibility and premium information on a broad portfolio of products
  • Assist members in selecting medical homes and primary care physicians
  • Educate members and providers in the appropriate use of health plan and clinic services
  • Research and respond to claims and authorization inquiries
  • Maintain knowledge of complex custom networks
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns

Please note the following important details regarding this role:

  • This posting is for multiple openings of an Associate Customer Care Coordinator
  • This role requires flexibility to work an 8am-8pm shift, Monday - Friday
  • This position will require onsite workdays for trainings
  • This position will require to an in-office presence, 3 days per week, for your first 8-12 weeks of initial training

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years' of experience working in a high-pressure customer facing service environment with a proven track record of learning and applying complex concepts

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Experience working in a health care environment
  • Call center customer service experience
