Summary

We are seeking an experienced and Skilled Machine Set up/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of machinery, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The Machine Set up/Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment, monitoring machine performance, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet our standards. This role requires a keen attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Candidate must uphold and represent ProVia’s Purpose, Vision, Mission and Values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications and guidelines.
Monitor machine operations to ensure products are produced in compliance and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting.
Conduct quality checks on products and identify any defects or irregularities and take corrective action as needed.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and achieve production targets.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Roll forming or mill work in a manufacturing setting.
Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Familiarity with a variety of machinery and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and precision.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands
Ability to grasp and lift 50lbs . Ability to stand, kneel, sit, and reach for long periods of time and on a repetitive basis. Ability to sit or stand, using a desktop computer or a laptop, as well as other office equipment and supplies continuously.
