Position Summary:

While adhering to department and company policies, the Scan & Index Clerk scans and indexes all critical documents as a record for ProVest and the client. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scan assigned documents to include identifying document through use of bar code or ProVest Case ID number,
• Ensure all documents are scanned to the appropriate ‘client box’ until document is indexed,
• Follow established guidelines for entering documentation into the systems, 
• Quality check scanned documents against the physical document/file and make corrections as required,
• Rescan documents/files that were not scanned successfully the first time,
• Index documents/files for applicable states and/or clients:
  • Look up document(s) / file(s) identification number,
  • Assign document type
  • Verify pages
  • Click save which pushes documents through to the Tracker system

• Performs other related duties as required. 

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

• High School diploma or equivalent,
• One year of verifiable work experience,
• Requires a high level of work ethic,
• Proficient organizational skills,
• Effective communication skills.
