We are looking for a highly qualified Project Manager with a degree in Architecture or Design and at least ten years of experience in facilities/building management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex projects, including developing and maintaining project schedules, advocating for schedule adherence, and conducting schedule analysis. Additionally, the Project Manager will be in charge of budget development and management, financial reporting, contract management, and project communications. The role will require operating within a fast-paced, forward-thinking culture, applying expertise in occupancy and space solutions, and real estate design strategies on behalf of our client.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated display of analytical skills

• Oversees construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
• Creates and reviews Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal and Change Orders.
• Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
• Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
• Provides technical support to Project Managers.
• Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records.
• Performs change order estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
• Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
• Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors’ construction schedules.
• Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
• Reports the status of projects to business and market leaders.
• Attend client program meetings as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tactfully deliver difficult messages, and tailor information to the audience; presents equally well to executives, large and small groups
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) with the capability to master client specific programs
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
• A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
• Comfortable with frequent or rapid change; flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
• Ability to effectively manage time, organize and prioritize deliverables and workload

• Understanding of and commitment to client service
• Domestic travel may be required

Pay: Up to $115,000.00 per year
