• Communicate with nurses and other medical staff members.
• Perform physical tasks associated with health care such as preparing patients for examinations and administering medication.
• Monitor the condition of patients and report any signs of changes to medical staff.
• Perform clerical work associated with the delivery of health care to patients.
• Be aware of basic health information such as a person's age, weight, gender, or medical condition.
• Prepare equipment necessary for patient examination or treatment.
• Provide basic care to patients including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
