Roles & Responsibilities:
- The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients with various manifestations of venous insufficiency, arterial disease, dermopathies, lipoedema, and lymphedema to include: complete medical history, conducting evaluations and physical tests, establishing diagnoses utilizing medical ultrasound, and developing and overseeing plans of care.
- Completes medical documentation on patients along with appropriate referrals.
- Educate patients on current disease state.
- Evaluate ultrasound study results and communicate findings to patients.
- Provide follow-up treatments and care to patients in accordance with protocols established by physicians to include medication prescription and management.
- Promote the mission of MVC while overseeing clinical staff and working with interdisciplinary providers.
Required Master of Science in Nursing
Must have an NP license for TX State
Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
