Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Cover community events, school athletic events, or school practices as assigned.
Provide athletic injury evaluation, and immediate care, and assist with the referral of injured athletes by generally accepted principles of athletic training services at the school or venue where they are present.
Participate in all clinical in-service activities as assigned.
Administer clinical rehabilitation treatments as allowed by local and state law.
Report any non-operative equipment to the Administrator/Site Coordinator.
Adhere to the policies and procedures of the center.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Currently, have ATC certified or soon eligible to sit for BOC.
CPR Certification (Required)
Bachelor's (Required)
One or two years in an athletic training setting is preferred.
Experience with recognition, evaluation, and immediate care of athletic injuries.
Ability to perform the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, assessment, treatment, (including first aid) and reconditioning.
Ability to instruct athletes in therapeutic exercise, and strength and conditioning programs.
Ability to demonstrate proper taping, strapping, bracing, and fitting of athletic equipment.
