Electronics Manufacturing Technician III

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Technician III to operate as a Senior Level Technician and can Supervise or oversee our Electronic production operations. As a Tech III, you will be responsible for leading and co-working with a team of production operators, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and we are looking for a hands-on candidate who has worked in a small business electronics manufacturing setting and can drive operational excellence while achieve production goals. This person is a hands-on "fixer", enjoys challenges, working with people, has an entreprenurial spirit, and wants to grow with our company.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

-Work together with Manufacturing Manager, Technician/Engineer and the Engineering Department to maintain machines, test stands, RMA's, shop floor rejects.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and resolve any manufacturing issues
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Works collaboratively with Purchasing to Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure availability of materials
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, EET, Business or Manufacturing or related field and/or 5 years of successful experience in a similar role and small/mid size setting in electronics manufacturing. Familiarity with PCB Fabrication is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Tech III, Mfg Engineer, or higher in a similar role within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
- Proficient in using manufacturing software systems and tools
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ideal candidate will be a good leader, team player/hands-on person with excellent trouble-shooting skills, solder/de-solder skills, familiar with IPC-A-610 solder quality and able to use Microsoft Office products. Familiarity with PCB Fabrication is a plus.
