• Perform individual handling of extruded product to include, but not limited to, placing tubing on clean trays, tables, boxes, or bags.
• Perform quick visual inspection of tubing as it comes off the conveyor belt.
• Understand and execute specific tasks associated with specific jobs and customer requirements.
• Notify Production Operator and/or Supervisor of noticeable product defects that deviate from specification.

• Properly fill out traying/packaging logs and other controlled documents/paperwork as needed. 
• Train on new policies and procedures as dictated by customer or departmental requirements.
• Utilize specific equipment related to traying/handling/packaging as necessary.
• Perform routine work area clean-up and tray washing.
• Provide training for new team members as assigned

• Immediately report unsafe conditions/behaviors and work-related injuries to site supervision.

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a controlled manufacturing environment designed for sustained production. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demand

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with other trayers, production operators and supervisor.
• The employee frequently is required to stand (up to 8 hours per shift); move to different extrusion lines; use hands to handle or feel tubing; and reach with hands and arms to remove tubing from conveyor belt.
• Twisting of the torso is a frequent movement and bending at the waist may be required at times.
• Employee may be responsible for moving and/or lifting trays that weigh approximately 6 pounds when empty.
