Description
Protect-US is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at a premier bar and lounge venue located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patrons and staff. Your leadership skills will guide a team of security personnel in effectively managing potential threats and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the security team.
Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
Implement and enforce security protocols and procedures in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Train and mentor security personnel, ensuring they are prepared to handle a variety of security incidents.
Coordinate with management and local law enforcement to develop and maintain emergency response plans.
Monitor surveillance equipment and patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of disturbance or danger.
Manage incident reports and conduct investigations into security breaches or irregularities.
Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations and assist in managing situations involving intoxicated patrons.
Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a balance between authoritative and approachable to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Proven experience in security supervision, preferably in the hospitality or nightlife industry.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Knowledge of security operations and procedures, law enforcement practices, and investigation techniques.
Familiarity with state and local safety regulations, including alcohol service laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and law enforcement agencies.
Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
Physically fit and able to patrol the premises regularly.
Valid California Guard Card
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
