WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

This position is a hands on System Engineering position support a missioncritical system. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of systemsupport, including requirements management, data management and analysis, systemtesting, and support to users.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems,Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from anaccredited college or university is required. . Five (5) years of additional SE experience on projects with similar softwareprocesses may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
. Familiarity / completion of Advanced Communications Signals Analysis Course,Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems,Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from anaccredited college or university is required. . Five (5) years of additional SE experience on projects with similar softwareprocesses may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Working knowledge of Digital Multiplexers, Analog and Digital Signals,Voice/Vocoders, TDMs, Spread Spectrum, SONET/SDH/OTN, ETHERNET, PCM, VSAT, OSIModel and Computer to Computer (C2C) structure, protocols, and data such as:MPLS, Psuedowire, TDMop, ATM, Frame Relay, Cisco, Nortel, X.25, PPP, IP, TCP.UDP, VOIP, VOFR and Fragmentation.
