Job Title: Experienced Sewer

Hours: Mon-Thurs 6am to 3:30pm with a shorter day on Friday

Pay: $17 DOE

ProStaffing is seeking an experienced Furniture Sewer with expertise in saddle stitch sewing techniques. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a keen eye for precision, ensuring that each piece meets the company's standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Sewing sofa and chair skirts, cushions and ottomans with flow match and accurate measurements
• Operate industrial sewing machines and other equipment with skill and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine maintenance of sewing equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:

• Proven experience as a Furniture Sewer, to include flat stitch, double stitch, and saddle stitch on industrial machines
• Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to interpret sewing patterns and follow design specifications accurately.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
