Direct HireResponsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine lighting product needs and requirements
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality standards and delivery timelines
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to obtain the best value for our company
- Place purchase orders and track their progress to ensure timely delivery
- Manage inventory levels and monitor product availability to avoid shortages or excess stock
- Perform regular market research to stay informed about trends, pricing, and new product offerings
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure efficient transportation and delivery of purchased lighting products
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a buyer, preferably in the lighting industry
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable deals and terms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using purchasing software and tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to foster strong supplier partnerships
