Our campuses foster a collaborative team environment with extraordinary educators who are committed to ongoing learning, reflection, and professional growth.What does a Math & Science Department Chair at Prospect Hill do?Prospect Hill Academy Middle School is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and skilled instructional leader to lead the Math & Science department for grades 7 and 8. Responsibilities for this role include:
  • Instructional coaching and support for two Math and two Science teachers
  • Oversight and development of Math and Science curricula, in collaboration with teachers and district-wide curriculum leaders
  • Planning and facilitation of department planning and data meetings
  • Participation on the Middle School Instructional Leadership Team
  • Providing remedial instruction to small groups of students in Math Intervention

  • Differentiating instruction to make content accessible and challenging for all learners
  • Examining and challenging personal biases and systemic inequities in pursuit of anti-racist teaching, curricula, and culture
