Prospect Construction is looking for skilled construction workers to join our project teams in the Montana Region! Stop by for our open interview event in Great Falls!

Union Laborer: **Must be a member of the Local Laborers Union or willing to join. Prospect is willing to provide assistance in signing up.**

Prospect Construction is a Heavy Civil Contractor that specializes in water and wastewater treatment plants, hydraulic structures/facilities, shoring systems, large concrete tanks, pump stations/process facilities, dewatering, major excavations, structural steel, process equipment, and mechanical systems.

Project Locations:

· Great Falls

· Choteau

· Lewistown

· Fort Benton

· Missoula

·

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

· Operate equipment/ tools in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures.

· Properly follow all company policies and procedures in accordance with the OSHA and MSHA regulations for safe working practices and environments.

· Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.

· Shovel earth/dirt to prepare ground for trenches for pipes/ dig up existing pipes and other debris with manual tools as needed.

· Connect multiple pipes together by sealing joints, which will entail using glue, cement, mechanical devices.

· Install new pipes around a property using an eclectic assortment of tools, including transit levels, grade rods and levels.

· Measure the surrounding area where the pipes are going to be installed and cut the pipes to match the allotted area.

· Bury pipes and clean up the job site when completed.

· Properly follow all company policies and procedures in accordance with the OSHA and MSHA regulations for safe working practices and environments.

Qualifications:

· Ability and willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.

· Ability to walk over rough, uneven, or slippery surfaces.

· Ability to climb stairs or ladders.

· Ability to work in a variety of physical positions which include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and walking.

· Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move or position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Candidates must be able to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous manual labor throughout the day.

Requirements:

· This is project is signatory to the Laborers Union if not a member of you must be willing to join.

· Ability to transport themselves to and from the worksite each day.
