Role will support the Mid-Atlantic Region (DC, VA, and MD)
The Regional Manager will lead a group of dental offices and will be responsible for providing direction, leadership, and development of region’s management team. This position will have full accountability for achieving financial objectives, operating efficiencies, and excellence in patient care.
The Regional Manager will achieve results by building high-performing teams, operations effectiveness, maximizing on growth opportunities, having a strong hold on key organizational initiatives, and ensuring successful implementation in the portfolio offices. Regional Manager will be fully engaged and heavily involved in driving day to day performance of assigned offices in the region and effectively manage all expense control measures.
Successful candidate will enjoy building relationships at all levels of management. High level of collaboration is required with office management, clinical and non-clinical staff, Regional Clinical Directors, and Executive Leadership team in regard to company initiatives, dental office management, revenue growth, collections, profitability, communication, motivation, and patient care.
Responsibilities & Duties
Lead the region and the inspire team to excel in areas of performance including patient care, revenue growth, and collections.
Train, mentor, and monitor new Office Managers to be effective and knowledgeable, provide constant coaching and support to make them self-reliant and effective.
Review daily production schedule with Office Managers to assist with appropriate staffing levels and expense controls.
Determine causes of low performance from available data and reports and take appropriate action to determine and execute a course of action.
Actively participate in provider interview and recruiting and take initiative, ownership of onboarding process, and provide ongoing support to ensure success.
Actively manage patient complaints, resolve all outstanding issues within 24 hours by working with Office Managers, Facility Directors, and staff.
Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations that impact business operations, and maintain full compliance with company policies.
Conduct monthly operating reviews with each Office Manager and Regional Clinical Director, measure performance against expectations, and create monthly action plan with accountability to address unfavorable variances.
Provide constructive feedback and address performance issues quickly and thoroughly, partner with Human Resources and counsel managers and ensure managers counsel employees in a timely manner.
Conduct weekly visits in each office, ensure consistent, effective, and active presence, and conduct operations and performance audits.
Anticipate problems and respond timely to operations and clinical challenges, establish business processes are practices that are intended to deliver expected results.
Qualifications, Education, and other Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
Minimum two years of relevant work experience as a Business/Office manager and minimum of five years’ experience in a management role
Prior P&L management experience
Regular and extensive travel within the region and corporate office
Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
