Description:
A reputable General Contractor in the Columbus, OH - area is seeking an experienced Scheduler to play a pivotal role in planning and coordinating commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring seamless integration and sequencing to achieve project goals.
- Meeting with Project Management team, Field Superintendents, Directors and PreConstruction team to optimize timelines, resource allocation, man power and minimize delays
- Provide field staff with two and three week look aheads to communicate with subcontractors
- Monitor project progress by collecting and analyzing data, identifying schedule deviations, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of schedules, progress reports, change orders, and relevant records
- Analyze all changes to project schedule and the impact on cost and timeline
Requirements:
- Prior experience in project management or preconstruction
- Highly analytical with excellent communication skills
- Experience with MS Projects
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, creativity and a team player mentality
