ProRec Resource Solutions is Hiring a Training Developer Near Harrisburg, PA

Training Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Training Developer to provide supplemental support to the Bureau of Health Statistics and Registries (BHSR) for the PAVRMS (Pennsylvania Vital Records Management System) implementation. The contractor will primarily support the Phase 2 (Death Module) onboarding process, leveraging lessons learned from Phase 1 (Birth Module).

Objectives of Engagement: The Training Developer will:

  • Understand adult virtual training methodologies, business requirements, and workflows.
  • Provide post-implementation end-user support.
  • Collaborate with the Business Workflow Unit, Project Manager, Vendor(s), and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and engage external stakeholders, providing them with virtual training, account access setup, and post-deployment support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with program subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders.
  • Maintain working knowledge of PAVRMS.
  • Document and understand business requirements and workflow for training purposes.
  • Develop and deliver training plans virtually and/or in-person.
  • Maintain training records through the Commonwealth's TRAIN PA system.
  • Provide post-deployment support such as password management, account troubleshooting, and process management expertise.

Specific Tasks:

  • Assist in the analysis and management of facility setup in PAVRMS.
  • Maintain training records of external stakeholders (facility administrators, personnel from hospitals, funeral homes, coroner and medical examiner offices, nursing homes, etc.) through the TRAIN PA system.
  • Manage virtual and/or in-person training curricula, including reviewing vendor-provided training materials.
  • Develop and deliver virtual and/or in-person training plans and procedures to external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program SMEs and stakeholders to ensure PAVRMS application functionality aligns with business needs and training documentation.
  • Report application defects and escalate potential deficiencies to the onboarding team lead and/or Business Workflow Manager.
  • Provide post-deployment end-user technical support.

Operational Requirements:

  • Complete weekly timesheet reporting in PeopleFluent/VectorVMS by COB Friday.
  • Provide weekly personal status reports by COB Friday submitted on SharePoint.
  • Schedule training status meetings with the Assistant State Registrar, Business Workflow Manager, Program Manager, and Division Directors as necessary.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the information technology industry in business analysis, adult training development, and/or end-user support.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven history of successful training development and delivery.
