Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse operations. This is a vital role in our distribution center, ensuring that products are properly received, stored, and shipped to customers.

Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Sort, label, and store incoming products in designated locations within the warehouse
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
- Utilize AS400 system or similar software to update inventory records
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or order pickers to move products as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order tracking
- Familiarity with AS400 system or similar inventory management software is a plus
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or order pickers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of e-commerce processes is beneficial

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
