Description
The Engineering Technology Specialist provides technical support in Reliability, Research and Development, Digital Solutions, or Continuous Improvement for the organization's Engineering Technology team; assists with creating and updating training curricula for the Maintenance team; participates in the delivery and development of training on maintenance procedures, guidelines, and best practices; and ensures that all equipment monitoring programs adhere to engineering specifications and maintain operational performance standards (i.e., Intellie, Product Link, etc.).
Responsibilities

• Employ the latest maintenance management systems to advance the organization's commitment to quality, safety, cost-efficiency, continuous improvement, strategic planning, setting goals, performance measurement, and training
• Identify recurring equipment problems and gaps in existing maintenance practices that require modification
• Collaborate with the Engineering Technology team to identify staff training requirements for new and existing equipment procedures.
• Assist with creating and updating training curricula for the organization's Maintenance team personnel
• Participate in the development and delivery of training on maintenance procedures, guidelines, and best practices
• Ensure that all equipment monitoring programs adhere to engineering specifications and maintain operational performance standards (i.e., Intellie, Product Link, etc.)
• Collect and review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and mechanical performance reports
• Compile weekly summaries of mechanical performance and KPIs
• Prepare and present quarterly maintenance report and provide input on the creation of new KPIs
• Support Emerging Technology initiatives by optimizing material and resource utilization
• Assist with the Engineering Technology team with project planning and management
• Collaborate with external vendors and service contractors
• Assist the organization's Maintenance and Operations teams by consistently reviewing all accessible diagnostic information and conducting root cause analysis
• Participate as needed in the Engineering Technology team's processes and contribute the achievement of team objectives
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required safety training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in oil and gas industry in a technical maintenance role
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with pumping services equipment
• 2 years of formal maintenance or technical education, strongly preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent, required
• Must have knowledge of maintenance management systems
• Must have knowledge of engineering specifications and maintaining the performance of equipment monitoring systems (i.e., Intellie, Product Link, etc.)
• Highly proficient in diagnostic systems and root cause analysis
• Proficient knowledge of training curriculum development and design
• Proficient knowledge of project planning and management practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; can effectively communicate with teammates, vendors, managers and personnel at all levels of the organization
• Highly collaborative; can successfully work with others to reach a common goal
• Strong presentation skills; can pass on knowledge in a classroom or field environment
• Analytical with strong critical thinking skills; can gather, organize, interpret, compile reports, and utilize relevant data to shape objectives and solve problems
• Proficient working in Microsoft Office 365 applications and able to quickly learn other work-related software
