We are seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians for 3 of our communities in the East Valley - Tempe and Mesa.

Our maintenance techs play a crucial role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our properties. Responsibilities include ensuring curb appeal, handling all service requests and work orders, apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance, and fostering positive relationships with residents, contractors, and team members.

Skills & Experience:

• 3-6 months of on-site work experience as a residential maintenance technician, with a preference for on-site experience in apartment or hotel maintenance
• A self-starter who demonstrates professionalism and thrives in an independent work environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and follow through on work assignments
• Timeliness in arrival to work and completion of daily task list
• Ability to meet all physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Own basic hand tools and power drill required

Expectations:

• Plumbing: Repair, replace, or install various fixtures such as faucets, pipes, toilets, garbage disposals, shower heads, and water-related appliances.
• Electrical: Perform repairs, replacements, or installations of electrical components including switches, fuses, sockets, lights, fans, and climate control systems.
• Drywall Repair: Fill holes and repair minor dings caused by normal wear and tear.
• Painting: Perform touch-ups and apply new coats of paint to unit walls as needed.
• Appliance Repair: Repair, replace, or install household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, washers, dryers, hot water tanks, and air conditioners.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on heating and air-conditioning systems, pols, community equipment, plumbing fixtures, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday, full-time
• No weekends or after-hours on-call
