Propel Schools is currently seeking Part-Time Building Monitors for its Northside School. Pay rate is $15.00/hr. 

Responsibilities include:

1.) Monitor bus arrivals to ensure scholars safely depart the bus and enter the building in an orderly fashion.

2.) Monitor breakfast duty to ensure scholars are safely eating and getting to class in a timely fashion.

3.) Monitor hallways to ensure scholars are appropriately exiting and returning to class in a timely fashion.

4.) Monitor lunch period ensure scholars are safely eating and getting to class in a timely fashion.

5.) Monitor dismissal to ensure scholars are safely boarding appropriate buses.

Requirements:

1.) Experience in an urban education setting (preferred)

2.) Strong communication and relationship building skills

3.) Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competency, high degree of emotional intelligence and self-awareness with the ability to reflect and adapt to diverse environments.

4.) Attention to detail.

5.) Ability to engage and build rapport with scholars K-8.

6.) Ability to be kind, caring, and patient.
