Due to multiple recent acquisitions and growth, we're looking to add a detail oriented Staff accountant to our team. The successful applicant should have experience in financial reporting, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation.

Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for an exciting opportunity in accounting? Join our dynamic team as a Staff Accountant! Due to multiple recent acquisitions and growth, we're looking to add a few detail-oriented Staff accountants to our accounting team. The successful applicant needs experience in financial reporting, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation. This position involves at least 50% remote work. New Graduates in CT are welcome.

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct regular G/L account entry activity.
  • Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with the established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.
  • Reconcile bank statement.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, research and solve discrepancies.
  • Assist in audit activities.
  • Assist accounting team in special projects and assignments as required.

Job requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Fluent in Microsoft office, excel, word, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-company environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
