The Promontory Club is looking to fulfill a vacancy for a Food and Beverage Shed Steward (Dishwasher) Full time.

The Shed personifies the Promontory mission of creating a place for busy, successful people who cherish family time to gather and spend time as a family, and relax with all the amenities a modern multi-generational family love.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Always have a positive attitude, and be a team-oriented person.
• Washing, drying, stacking and organizing the dishes, pots, silverware and utensils.
• Emptying garbage throughout the shift.
• Sweeping and mopping the floors daily.
• Removing trash / boxes daily.
• Cleaning floor mats and floor drains.
• Keep the kitchen cleaned and orderly on a daily basis.
• Maintain all cleaning standards set forth by the Shed Chef de Cuisine.
• Follow all directions given by the Shed Chef de Cuisine and / or Sous Chef.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to management;

complete safety training and certifications.

Other duties as assigned or as required to ensure the guest has a positive and satisfactory dining experience.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within the first two weeks of employment.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Previous experience working in a fine dining or casual dining restaurant is preferred; must have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS : Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time; ability to lift 15lbs frequently and the ability to lift 50lbs occasionally;
• must be able to work in hot and cold environments; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends when needed;

must be willing to work at any F&B outlet at Promontory when required.

Wages start at $16 / hr and will be determined upon employment and will be commensurate with experience.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
