Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Site Supervisor to join our team. The Site Supervisor, at the rank of Sergeant, will oversee shift supervisors, and oversee direction of security, safety, and emergency response activities at the site. The successful candidate will ensure an orderly running of all shifts and liaise with both 1) client and 2) agency command personnel.

This contract is a warehouse/manufacturing plant. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees through patrol, access control, and emergency response. This is a critical role that requires excellent observation skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to handle potentially challenging situations with professionalism.

Duties as a Sergeant:
- Oversee scheduling, to ensure there are no open shifts
- Oversee operations, to ensure that all officers are performing all job duties
- Conduct employee review, including initiating disciplinary decisions; relaying information to Internal Affairs
- Conducting inspections on officers and posts, ensuring job knowledge and compliance
- Leading field training and quizes on duties and post orders
- Taking command in emergency situations

Duties as a Security Officer:
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
- Enforce access control procedures
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, including conducting investigations when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees
- Collaborate with local law enforcement/fire agencies when needed
- Complete detailed reports of incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage

Additional Duties as Emergency Response Team Member:
- Respond to HAZMAT releases, such as spills, and oversee clean-up/mitigation
- Respond to medical incidents and triage patients (stabilization) until EMS arrives
- Respond to fires and mitigate loss as much as possible
- Oversee evacuations when necessary

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is REQUIRED
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (must be obtained within 30 days)
- Certification in OC, Baton, and Handcuffing (will be provided if not already certified)
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and procedures
- Must have or be able to obtain Maryland State Security License
