This position will effectively supervise and manage the daily activities of the outreach team, providing direction and guidance with regard to policies, procedures, workflows, quality, training needs, performance management and the handling of routine department functions.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • High School diploma or equivalent. AA preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • 3 years’ customer service experience in a managed care, medical office or health care related field.
  • Understanding of health plan departments and functional areas for problem resolution
  • Experienced in managing performance expectations through collecting, tracking, and analyzing metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact professionally in escalating situations
  • Strong coaching and people development skills through call listening, quality feedback etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adept organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter, resourceful and able to execute projects in a fluid and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interpret and apply established policies and procedures.
