SCAN AND SCORE ADMINISTRATOR JOB OVERVIEWThe position of Scanning Administrator will be responsible for scanning paper answer sheets using on premises equipment and then uploading these results into our proprietary results management applications. The scanning will be conducted utilizing custom written desktop applications that interface with the physical desktop scanner, as well as processing all documents in a secure environment. The scanning process is conducted on a daily basis for our testing clients. These results come back in large quantities; results need to be scored quickly. All scanning needs to be conducted with 100% accuracy to ensure our candidates are scored fairly. This position will report directly to the Scan and Score Coordinator. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReceive batches of answer sheets for scoring from the mail room (distribution center)Operate desktop software in order to scan in resultsHandle online application for updating result data into systemsRun error reports to identify any errors on the manual answer sheetsFollow standard operating procedure (SOP) for each client to execute peripheral jobs, includes reporting, certificate printing, and filingCommunicate with all teams for any issuesUpdate tracking system to enable us to track service levels to our clientsPerform quality control on scanning process for other team membersCoordinate interaction between the teams involved to ensure that issues affecting projects are effectively resolved QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSExcellent time management and organizational skills.Detail oriented and ability to follow many different processesGood PC skills in a Windows based environment (including MS Office--Excel, Word, Access, etc.)Ability to learn new processes and execute efficientlyGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizePrior work-related experience is a plusBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required 1 year experience preferredExperience in a secured environment preferredAttention to detail is an absolute mustProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience with small package shipping preferred Experience with paper or printed material storage and distribution preferredPHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTSAble to lift up to 50lbs required
